MBNA Sports credit cards!

Sports credit cardsMBNA seemed to me to be the credit card provider who was offering the most to the customer. Their rewards schemes were very attractive. I couldn't believe it when I discovered their sports cards range.

As I am a great follower of sports but largely rugby I decided I would try out their England Rugby card. The card offers customers the reward scheme which is also on their MBNA points card as well as the MBNA platinum card and many of their other cards.
The reward scheme works in that when I make a purchase on my card a donation is made to the English rugby union on my behalf by MBNA! Then, I am rewarded with one point for every one pound I spend.

I can convert these points into pound at any time! MBNA offer discounts on travel as well as entertainment and England rugby goods which I can purchase at discount prices with my points!
This is an excellent credit card, with a APR of 15.9%, which i was shocked at, because I assumed it would be a lot higher because of the excellent offers which came along with it!

This is an excellent card, as is all of the MBNA cards on their sports range!

Barclaycard offers - Apply for your charity card!

Barclays charity card I have had several Barclaycard accounts over the years and I have to say I have always been pretty satisfied with the service I have received! Any time I have ever lost my credit card, Barclay's were very fast to cancel it and issue me with a new one, they do not add hidden additional fees to my account and they provide me with great APR rates as well as extras on the account.

I decided to switch to their Barclaycard Charity credit card which will make a charity donation every time I use my card. Barclaycard donate 0.3% of what I spend, at no extra cost to me!
So a charity is benefiting from my spending!
Barclaycard will also make a one off donation when I first activate my account of £5.00 to a charity.
They support a number of worthwhile charities, including Marie Curie Cancer Care, Save the Children, Samaritans and the Woodland Trust.
All of these charities in my mind are extremely worthwhile and donations made to them are a not only necessary but also a great idea! I have been using my credit card for some months now, which means I have been donating at no extra cost to myself to help all of the needy charities!

I would recommend this card to anyone who is thinking of donating to a charity or taking our a credit card! It is an excellent way to donate to a charity without any added expenses or costs! I couldn't believe it when I got my statement and realised how much actually goes to charity!

American Express - The only card for me!

MBNA American ExpressAmerican express is one of the largest credit card providers throughout the world! They offer a number of cards to customers which range through a large number of financial circles.
The card I applied for was the Blue sky.

Blue Sky from American Express offers its members rewards scheme which they can use on travel.
With its zero travel restrictions customers can build reward points extremely fast, just through daily expenditures such as petrol and grocery's. I was able to do this which then gave me a large discount when I went to book my family holiday!
It was a great saving and help when this could have been a very expensive move!

There is no annual fee with this card which is also an excellent saving when comparing this card to other providers. I feel this is an excellent card and I often receive literature from American Express with offers to join other card schemes with larger credit limits but I think this is the one which best suits my situation!
I was delighted when I first joined and got an initial introductory offer of 0% APR for 6 months but even with the excellent rate of 13.24% APR this makes this card very attractive to customers as it is a great saving from other cards!
